Advertising T-shirt in Creative Multimedia

What is Creative? What is Multimedia? Is Creative Multimedia give benefits to us and if no Creative Multimedia in our life, how our life reacts? Creative means is the ability to generate innovative ideas and manifest them from thought into reality. The process involves original thinking and then producing. The process of creation was historically reserved for deities creating "from nothing" in Creationism and other creation myths. Over time, the term creativity came to include human innovation, especially in art and science and led to the emergence of the creative class. Multimedia means is media and content that uses a combination of different content forms. The term can be used as a noun (a medium with multiple content forms) or as an adjective describing a medium as having multiple content forms. The term is used in contrast to media which only use traditional forms of printed or hand-produced material. Multimedia includes a combination of text, audio, still images, animation, video, and interactivity content forms. Multimedia (as an adjective) also describes electronic media devices used to store and experience multimedia content. Multimedia is distinguished from mixed media in fine art; by including audio, for example, it has a broader scope. The term "rich media" is synonymous for interactive multimedia. Hypermedia can be considered one particular multimedia application. So, Creative Multimedia means generate an innovative idea and manifest them from thought into reality through media and content that uses a combination of different content forms. Creative Multimedia gives benefits to us, we can see by internet, art, newspaper and etc. Creative Multimedia gives colour and design to it. If creative multimedia does not exist in our life, all of us have no instinct of art and taste. Creative Multimedia plays an important role in this. Creative Multimedia gives us about design, colour and everything.

The term of advertising t-shirts in creative multimedia is promote your done t-shirts and advertise them into something popular like make an application, video or something can express the design of the t-shirts. As we can see, it is like Nike or Coca Cola advertisement. We can see and feel the passion about the item of it. So, to advertise t-shirts in creative multimedia, it is like make something like someone wear a t-shirts and make it into something like making a video and make it beautiful. We must do the video in creative ways like make the video looks cool, the sound is good to hear and etc. When this kind of things happen, this is called advertise t-shirts in creative multimedia.

Nowadays, creative multimedia have becomes attraction to peoples and diverge towards many fields. Examples that we can see in creative multimedia are film animation, virtual reality, interface design, media innovation, digital media, photographic and etc. T-shirt is part of creative multimedia, as we can see there are silk screen and digital printing. T-shirt is one of basic need to people. A T-shirt is usually buttonless and collarless, with a round neck and short sleeves. T-shirts are typically made of cotton or polyester fibers (or a mix of the two), knitted together in a jersey stitch that gives a T-shirt its distinctive soft texture. T-shirts can be decorated with text and/or pictures, and are sometimes used to advertise (see human billboard) (source from Wikipedia). Why we need it? The reason is t-shirt has influence people with their style and fashion. The styles that we can look are hip hop, daft punk, gothic, Indies, skin head and etc. T-shirt symbolized people attire. Skinny, urban, casual, and many more are show people attire. With the way they dressing we can see their personality or appearance. We can make business from t-shirt through selling, making, designing and the most popular way is digital printing. In way to make this business more successful we have to have to get many connections. The most connection that we have to get is from customer because the businesses will not success if there are no customer. T-shirt businesses need promotion, because promotion is back bone for this business. There are some people do this business with some organization or company. The business that they make is clothing label for the company. There are some people doing this activity as their full-time work and some people make it as their part-time.

Silk Screen Printing is a new kind of job. It start to popular around year 1960 with the explosion of art movement. Actually, Silk Screen Printing is a printing technique that uses a woven mesh to support an ink-blocking stencil. The attached stencil forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink as a sharp-edged image onto a substrate. A roller or squeegee is moved across the screen stencil, forcing or pumping ink past the threads of the woven mesh in the open areas.Screen printing is also a stencil method of print making in which a design is imposed on a screen of silk or other fine mesh, with blank areas coated with an impermeable substance, and ink is forced through the mesh onto the printing surface. It is also known as Screen Printing, silkscreen, seriography, and serigraph ( source by Wikipedia ). Everything have it owns pros and cons, same as silk screen printing. The advantages of silk screen printing is you can make your design how much you want. Although you have done your printing, you still can edit and change where the part that still looks bad. The other things is you can ask people and ask them to give some support and comments. So, you can improve your work and upgrade it. Silk Screen Printing also give such a big reward to who manage to do it. It is kind of simple work, but when people start to like your work, you can just sit and enjoy your day. The last thing is when your design is success, you can see your design on t-shirts that people wear it around your town. There are also disadvantages about silk screen printing. One of them is if your design is bad and people hate it, no one will buy your shirts. It is a waste. Your time also will be as long until your work is done. If it require 24 hours, then your time and yourself will do the work in 24 hours. In silk screen printing, it require a high quality things like high branded colour or high quality t-shirt. If you use something that low quality things, it will damage the t-shirts when we wash it. So as you can see, it have good and negative effects but we have to think the positive because we can change the bad things if we want. All decisions is in our hand.

As we can see, silk screen printing is not an easy way to making a shirt but the budget are lower than others and the final result may be nicer. Many people nowadays just wear the T-shirt that they buy but they did not even know and appreciate on how to make the design on it. As a creative student, we think that everything that have been done by other people are the references for us to make a better design. So, the conclusion is Creative Multimedia is important in our life. Creative Multimedia also have many kind of job that offer us. Although it is good in our life, there are also negative effects.

So today in class, we had another fun exercise. Mr. Radzi Bedu showed us a list. 10 pairs of random words. :O

Then, we had to choose 3 number between 00-99. I choose 18, 92, and 56.

18 = Flower Wood

92 = Leaf Rock

56 = Fire Spider

Next, we have to make sentences from those words.

18 : The FLOWER cannot grow because the WOOD block the sunlight. :O

92 : The LEAF fell into the river that full of ROCK. o.O

56 : The FIRE was started by the SPIDER. :D

Lastly, we have to draw something from the words.

I think everyone knows what is mind map right? We have created so many mind map during school time. :O

Usually mind map will be done when there are so many things to show or present to audience. What will happen if I'm doing a presentation and just show words about 20pages?? Of course I will hear "zzzzzz" sound from you! :P

Yes, mind map will help us to jot down our brainstorming, notes and many more!
You can do it by just using words with colours or you can draw some pictures so that you can remember the notes easily. ^.^

Creative? Creativity? What? o.O
For me CREATIVITY can be defined as something that is different from others. It may be quite similar with anything but you cannot simply copy and paste! It is not creative! huh! *suddenly emo* >.<

We can become creative with everything. In drawing, designing, writing an essay, making sculpture, walking style, fashion and many more! Train your brain to become more creative by looking at other people artwork. :D

This time it is different. Jyeah~
Because this is the class that makes me think creatively. Yeah, its sounds simple because everyone can be creative.

But to think out of the box is hard. >.<
To make something that ugly but people love it is harder >.<
To impress audience until they cry is hardest!! >.<

So, I hope by learning from all the lecturers in this class will help me become more creative! :D
